2.3 Prices are exclusive of GST unless otherwise specified.

2.4 Any changes to product type, quantities, artwork or specifications after confirmation may result in additional charges.

3. Artwork and Print Approval

3.1 Customers are responsible for supplying print-ready artwork in the requested format.

3.2 We are not responsible for errors in approved artwork files, including spelling, layout or colour inaccuracies once final approval has been given.

3.3 Colour matching is completed to the closest possible PMS match where specified; however, slight variations may occur due to substrate material and firing conditions.

3.4 If artwork requires redrawing or modification, additional charges may apply.

4. Production and Lead Times

4.1 Production timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on order size, product availability and seasonal demand.

4.2 Lead times commence once artwork approval and any required deposit payment have been received.

4.3 We are not liable for delays caused by suppliers, freight providers, force majeure events or circumstances beyond our control.

5. Breakages and Manufacturing Tolerances

5.1 Glass and ceramic products are inherently fragile. Minor breakages may occur during production or firing. Allowances are factored into production planning to ensure the agreed delivered quantity is met.

5.2 If goods are damaged in transit, the Customer must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographic evidence of damage and packaging.

5.3 We will work in good faith to rectify verified breakage issues.

5.4 Where customers supply their own drinkware for printing, we are not responsible for pre-existing weaknesses, inconsistencies, or breakages resulting from inherent material defects.

6. Customer-Supplied Goods

6.1 If customers supply glassware or other products for printing, they do so at their own risk.

6.2 We are not liable for breakages, kiln loss, or defects resulting from material incompatibility with high-temperature firing processes.

6.3 It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure supplied items are suitable for kiln-fired decoration.

7. Payment Terms

7.1 Payment terms will be specified on the invoice or quote.

7.2 We may require a deposit before production begins.

7.3 Full payment may be required prior to dispatch unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7.4 Late payments may incur collection costs or interest as permitted under New Zealand law.

8. Delivery

8.1 Delivery timeframes are estimates only.

8.2 Risk passes to the Customer upon dispatch from our premises.

8.3 We are not responsible for delays, loss or damage caused by third-party freight providers.

9. Returns and Claims

9.1 As products are custom printed to order, returns are not accepted for change of mind.

9.2 Claims relating to defects must be made in writing within 7 days of receipt.

9.3 We reserve the right to inspect and assess any claimed defects before offering replacement or remedy.

10. Intellectual Property

10.1 The Customer warrants that they have the legal right to reproduce any logo, trademark or artwork supplied.

10.2 The Customer indemnifies The Glass Printery against any claims arising from unauthorised use of intellectual property.

10.3 We may photograph completed work for portfolio and marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
